The Lir, Ireland’s National Academy of Dramatic art was established as a result of a recognised need for an academy of excellence within the island of Ireland. We have worked with The Lir to help them launch their seasonal productions of Drama and Theatre to showcase their emerging talent. Creating a brand new design style, streamlined the brands’ marketing materials across many platforms, from production posters, programmes, social media, website and online.
The Lir has 4 major productions a year allowing their students to exhibit their talents across the full range of roles within the Drama and Theatrical scene including acting, directing, lighting design, stage design, stage management, technical theatre and writing for the theatre. Working closely with their Marketing team, we have spearheaded the generation of a design style exclusive to The Lir, which underpins the creative and expressive nature of the Industry which they inhabit.
Through the production of Show programmes, Posters, adverts, videos and more, we have established consistent branding for every production and course The Lir offers, while at the same time, reflecting the diversity and range of the Productions The Lir produces each Season. These may range from Comedy to Tragedy across eras from the 1800s to the present and we play a pivotal creative role in marrying imagery and design to compliment and illustrate each student Production.
When The Lir first joined us in 2013, we had the pleasure of creating and hosting their website, building a fully responsive site with a CMS system the client could control and manage themselves. Combining SEO, Googleadwords, digital advertising and Marketing we have firmly established The Lir brand across all available online platforms, driving awareness of their extensive and diverse course offering. Offline, we have created and designed their Prospectus, short course brochures, Graduate Showcase programmes and programmes to accompany their annual Fundraising Events.
