Content Creator – Walker Communications (Belfast / Dublin Office)

Walker are looking for a Content Creator to join our growing team. Based in our Belfast office, this role comes as we expand our client base and creative output. Reporting to our Creative Director/Digital Marketing team, you’ll play a key role in shaping innovative social media campaigns that actually engage audiences.
What's involved
In this position, you will develop mobile-first content—both video (short and long form) and still images—for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn. You’ll be working closely with our brands and clients, ensuring that each piece of content reflects the correct tone, visual identity, and strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
- Strategy & Ideation: Crafting and executing social media strategies that align with client objectives while keeping an eye on emerging trends.
- Content Production: Creating compelling videos and images that stand out on social platforms, with a keen focus on mobile users.
- Project Management: Planning and managing content calendars, ensuring optimal timing and consistent posting.
- Performance Analysis: Tracking KPIs, evaluating social performance, and adjusting strategies to enhance engagement.
- Collaboration: Working as a key part of a larger creative team, brainstorming ideas and providing insights into the latest digital trends.
Ideal candidate will have
We welcome applicants at various experience levels, provided you can demonstrate a strong background in creating engaging social campaigns.
- Proven experience in conceptualising and executing social media content.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to craft persuasive copy, captions, and on-screen graphics.
- Proficiency in editing tools such as CapCut and Canva.
- Strong organisational skills and the capacity to meet deadlines.
- A proactive, enthusiastic, and dependable attitude.
What’s Desirable
- Meta Ads or GA4 certifications.
- Flair for animation.
- Flexible with your working hours.
- hold a valid UK driving license (with access to a vehicle).
- Eligible to work in the UK.
