With the evolution of paid parking and the use of Apps and mobile to pay for parking, Walker have been working with NCPS (Nationwide Controlled Parking Systems) to develop a new brand and established Parkbytext. We were tasked with creating a brand with character. One that would be recognisable and associated with mobile. The brand ParkbyText and character Mr Parker was developed. The creative tone and application was to be 'friendly' and to work across all formats and communicate the new process as clearly and simply as possible.
Parkbytext operates throughout Ireland including the major train stations and Universities, Colleges and various car park’s and secure parking facilities. The character ‘Mr Parker’ was utilised to add emotion to the brand and help in promotion and site launches. The brand and sites has grown considerably and has delivered fantastic results. Parkbytext is operating across Ireland, the UK, Spain and the USA.
During the initial launch results included 10,000+ car parking transactions a day and NCPS are now managing 100,000+ car parking spaces, 15,000 customer service calls per month, 485 customers in the UK & Ireland and over 150 pay and display site.
