What is your role?
Bants Master. Joking, I am a Designer.
When did you join Walker?
I joined Walker a year ago. It feels like it was last week.
What is a typical day in the life of a designer?
I’ll come in, cuppa tea, get my job list, cuppa tea, design, design, cuppa tea, design, lunch. Then I might do some animation, sometimes a client meeting or two. Add in some snacks here and there. Pretty good.
Why did you choose Walker?
A lot of my friends are Graphic Designers, we all talk. ‘What company does what, where is good to work, where does great work?’. Walker always came up in positive light, great work and with a wide, versatile range of design practice and disciplines.
Do you have a secret talent?
I talk too much for a ‘secret’ talent. I am really good at meowing along to songs, but all the guys in the studio know that...
What’s your most used emoji?
My most used emoji is the wee kiss face with the heart... pure cheese. But I do send a lot of love.
What three words would your colleagues use to describe you?
I would guess, annoying, greedy and obviously talented. I asked them, there was a long silence. Thats not a good sign is it? I got, funny, outgoing and obviously talented/ modest.
If you had to pick 3 celebrities, living or dead, to host a dinner party for, who would you choose?
Louis Theroux, that's a given! Prue Leith to cook, she seems dead on. Probably Lewis Capaldi with a belly full of Buckfast, he’s usually pretty entertaining then.
Who inspires you?
This is tough. Different people for different things. Should I say my colleagues?
What is your favourite hobby?
I find myself at open farms a lot, I’m not sure thats a hobby? I do enjoy being creative outside of work, especially if its something away from a screen.
