Omniplex Cinema Group are located throughout most major cities and town in Ireland and Northern Ireland. We embarked on a brand campaign project with them to promote their USP’s, not just the movies’, to their customers. Reminding them about their superior seats, sound, screen and snacks. All inanimate but extremely important in the overall cinema experience.
The key factor in this was initially creating the new style and strapline for the overall campaign ‘Sit back and Omniplex’ to capture the essence of the campaign
The core advertising platform was creating the OOH billboard campaign which ran across NI sites. This was then rolled out in a themed variation across digital and social platforms.
From leaderboard and mpu formats supporting the outdoor campaign with a more quirky approach to social with and omn-nom-nom-iplex campaign.
Special photography of the cinema was commissioned to capture the best of standard and MAXX (premium large format) screens, the standard and leather rocker chairs, Dolby Atmos sound and all the yummy snacks available.
Social rollout included canvas and carousel ads which played on the themes, and was further supported with a little guess campaign that had quirky snack images relating to films for the Omniplex social followers to have a little fun with.
